Let's get started.

You understand exactly what's going on, so why doesn't it feel any better? I'm Yousef Gaber, a Licensed Master Social Worker and mindfulness-based therapist in Austin and across Texas. I work with men and trans adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions and the pull between family expectations and the life you want. I especially welcome immigrant and first-gen clients. At Dua Health, we close the gap between understanding and actually feeling at ease.

Maybe you can explain your patterns in detail, but your shoulders are still tense and your mind won't settle. I use mindfulness, which helps you notice what's happening in your body right now. ACT helps you make room for hard feelings instead of fighting them. Sometimes creative expression says what words can't. Sessions are available in English or Mandarin. My style is warm and unhurried, and our first session starts with what brings you in.

I believe healing happens when we slow down enough to feel it. Outside sessions, I'm making art or drinking tea under a shady oak tree. I see clients in person at our Austin office near UT and virtually anywhere in Texas. Whenever you're ready, I'd love to meet you.
