Let's get started.

Hi, I’m Kara.

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but it can also be the start of something deeply healing. My practice is trauma-informed and identity-informed. I support you in cultivating healthy, meaningful relationships, with others and with yourself. I offer individual, couples, family, and LGBTQ+ group therapy. My approach is relational, compassionate, and collaborative, grounded in a queer-affirming and feminist perspective. Research shows the therapist-client connection is one of the strongest predictors of healing, which is why I prioritize building trust through authenticity and non-judgment.

My focus is supporting people with trauma histories and people with marginalized identities. I encourage you to be your authentic self as we explore how to build the life you want. This can look like improving communication, learning about healthy attachment or practicing identifying and responding to emotions.

You deserve support that sees and honors the full you. My practice centers care for queer and marginalized communities, creating a space where you don’t have to shrink or hide any part of yourself. Let’s walk this path together.
