Let's get started.

You've trained for it, studied for it, worked for it, and somehow it's the thing wearing you down. I'm Alana Spaeth, a Licensed Master Social Worker and burnout therapist for teens and young adults in Austin and across Texas. I help students, athletes and young professionals with anxiety, depression and life transitions. Often it starts when school, sports or a first job take more than they give. At Dua Health, care is built around your life, so we start with what matters to you.

Maybe you're running on four hours of sleep, or the goals you set for yourself suddenly feel like someone else's. I work with teens 13 and up and young adults through 25. I use CBT, which helps you spot the thoughts that keep you stuck. Mindfulness helps you notice where stress sits in your body. My style is warm and practical. Our first session is simply a conversation about what's going on and what you want to change.

I believe the world is still your oyster, even on the hard days. Outside sessions, you'll find me at hot yoga or live music around Austin. I see clients in person at our Austin office near UT and virtually anywhere in Texas. Whenever you're ready, I'd love to meet you.
